- PERFECTSOUND IS NOW DOING REFURBS AGAIN -

PerfectSound is pleased to announce that we are NOW taking orders for refurbs/repairs of all Rockman equipment again!   Yippee!

Due to an overwhelming response to our doors being open for service again, we wanted you all to know that we do have a waiting list of faithful clients who have been waiting for quite a long time. Please know that we are diligently working as fast as we can to fill your requests, but please be patient a little longer while we diligently work at providing PerfectSound to our valued customers on the waiting list first.

In addition to all of the modules we will be refurbing every month, as a special favor to our fellow Rockman gearheads, we will be randomly picking one extra name from the waiting list per month so that the one lucky individual chosen will be able to get their Rockmodule refurbed sooner. So don't give up hope if you aren't even on the waiting list YET!  :)

If you would like to be added to our waiting list for refurb/repair please send your request to:

PerfectSound500@sbcglobal.net

Thanks to so many of you for your patience and support as we go through getting up to speed again. One last thing to mention is that our love for the Rockman gear and it's people still remains as a serious and intense hobby for us. To that end it must be noted that we all at PSRR have day time jobs, that pay our bills, along with families and lives outside of this wonderful Rockman arena of people. So please don't be offended if we can't reply to your specific emails or questions within a 2 or 3 day time frame. We are doing our best but sometimes life gets really messy as I am sure we all have experienced at one time or another.  :)

In the meantime please enjoy the wealth of information contained in reading the articles page or just browsing around our Rockman fun filled pages... ;)

PerfectSound SR&D Rockmodule refurbs

Rockman Rockmodules

PerfectSound now refurbs/repairs all of the Rockman SR&D Rockmodules!

***All refurbs now include our metal Rock'n'closure case!***

Refurb price $95.00 for Sustainors, $75.00 for all other Rockmodules plus $6.00 shipping and handling.

We no longer deal with the problematic plastic cases since our Rock'n'closure is such a vast improvement over the troublesome plastic cases. The PerfectSound Rock'n'Closure™ is the long awaited answer for all of the broken plastic Rockmodule cases that didn't stand the test of time. What better way to protect your prized Rockmodule than with a brand new metal enclosure for the main circuit board and faceplate. Made of solid, black powder coated aluminum, the Rock'n'Closure™ provides 360 degrees of awesome RF shielding...which has never been obtained until now. Also, you can say goodbye to broken plastic corners or cracked cases. Finally, the Rock'n'Closure™ is made so that a pair of Rockmodules fit snuggly into PerfectSound Rocktrays™, just like the originals...but better.

PSRR is also the sole distributor of Rocktrays™. The Rocktray™ is a rack shelf which houses one or a pair of Rockman Rockmodules and is custom built for us using original specifications.

Rocktray price is $40.00 each plus $8.80 for shipping and handling.

PSRR specializes in the refurbishing of Rockman Rockmodules, SR&D gear and vintage Rockman gear. Using Rockman equipment ourselves, we know what a good module, XPR or X100 Headphone Amp should sound like... and when a unit needs some TLC. This could be anything from a good cleaning or correcting a shielding problem, to replacing noisy caps or faulty IC's.

This refurbishment includes all of the Rockmodules made under the SR&D name, including Model 100 and 200 Sustainors, Smart Gates, Instrument Equalizers, Stereo Choruses, Stereo Chorus/Delays, Distortion Generators, Midi Octopi, Guitar Compressors, Stereo Echoes, XPR's, X100 Headphone Amp's as well as all other vintage Rockman gear.

Think your modules or vintage gear sound "OKAY"?  Think again.

XPR/XP100's $185.00 per unit (plus shipping). For refurb/repair info on other Rockman rarities drop us a line.

Please contact us for refurbishing your vintage gear.

PSRR also specializes in the repairing of terminally ill Rockman Rockmodules, SR&D gear and vintage Rockman gear. Unless of course it's been struck by lightining!  If you have a dead unit, a faulty button, a blown LED, a bad jack, some very strange hums or squeals or what ever, send it in and we will repair your Rockman Rockmodule (except Sustainors) and include a full refurb (with Rock'n'closure) for a flat fee of $95.00 each plus $6.00 for shipping and handling!  Now where else can you get a deal like that?

Please contact us for repairing your vintage gear.

- The PerfectSound Philosophy -
At PerfectSound, we try our best to make each and every Rockman Rockmodule sound as good (if not better) than when they originally came out of the factory. As this takes time, patience, and knowledge (three very rare commodities), PerfectSound does not discuss trade secrets or provide repair consultation to outside individuals. As in any service, we pride ourselves in performing something better than the usual run of the mill repair shop. Therefore, we ask our customers not to ask how we get our modules to sound as they do. Simply put, just respect OUR work and enjoy YOUR sound!
